Keystrokes that go nowhere

KeyboardTest watches your key events so it can draw them — and the watching happens inside your tab. Codes, timings, rollover counts and verdicts are computed and discarded locally; no keystroke is ever transmitted. Unplug the network mid-test and nothing about the tool changes.

Storage: deliberately empty

The tester writes no cookies and touches no localStorage. Close the tab and every trace of the session is gone, because none was kept. There is no account to create and no history to reconstruct later.

What reaches the outside

Two outbound things exist. Cloudflare, which serves the files, sees standard connection metadata — IP address, agent string, request time — like any host on the web. And a lone anonymous counter reports a page view with the referring site, a CDN-estimated country and a rough duration — identifier-free by construction.

Ads, where shown, come from Google AdSense and may involve Google’s own cookies for delivery and measurement; ad personalization is governed in your Google ad settings, not by anything this page does.
